1. Data Controller & Introduction

Geozation AI, registered and operating in Germany, is the data controller for personal data processed in connection with our GEO services. This policy documents our data-collection scope, processing legal bases, and GDPR Article 15–22 rights procedures in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

2. Data We Collect

We collect only the data categories required to deliver GEO strategy services. Collected data includes:

• Account data: full name, business email address, company name, and billing contact.
• Technical data: session identifiers, IP address ranges (anonymized after 7 days), and browser-type logs.
• Performance data: aggregated brand citation-frequency scores, LLM attribute sentiment outputs, and competitive citation-share benchmarks.

3. How We Use Your Data

Data is processed exclusively for service delivery, platform security, billing, and regulatory compliance. Specific processing activities include:

• Execution and reporting of AI retrieval monitoring and GEO strategy deliverables.
• Invoice generation and payment processing in Euros (€).
• Scheduled dispatch of weekly citation-frequency performance reports.

4. AI Platform & Third-Party Processing

Our monitoring infrastructure submits queries to third-party LLM APIs (OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, Perplexity) to retrieve brand citation data. No client brand or personal data is transmitted to these APIs beyond the brand entity name required for query execution. We maintain signed data-processing agreements (DPAs) with all sub-processors. Client proprietary data is never used in LLM training pipelines.

5. Your Rights Under GDPR

Data subjects have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port their personal data under GDPR Articles 15–20, and to object to processing under Article 21.
